Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey | Fifty-Six Society Edition

Welcome Event: Master Blending Session with Victoria Eady Butler
Join Nearest Green’s great-great-granddaughter in crafting a unique Uncle Nearest Master Blend. For the first time, enthusiasts will have the extraordinary opportunity to participate in our whiskey-making process. Tennessee Whiskey Single Barrel Pick
Participate in a first-of-its-kind barrel selection for an Uncle Nearest Tennessee Whiskey Single Barrel Pick. Taste select Tennessee Whiskey barrels, guided by members of the Nearest Green Distillery team providing professional insights on the whiskey. Enjoy provided refreshments and food as you savor the experience, then conclude the event with a vote on the barrel that will be bottled exclusively for The Fifty-Six Society members to take home at a later date.

Both memberships include 1 welcome gift at the initial enrollment along with 1 member-exclusive bottle each quarter to enjoy.
No, members don’t have to pay for the bottles included in the membership. Members will receive exclusive and rare whiskeys each quarter as part of their membership benefits—these are covered by their annual membership dues. Additionally, as a member, they will be among the first to know about special bottle releases before they are announced to the general public. While these special releases are available for general purchase, members' early access ensures they have the first opportunity to secure them.
If a member cannot make one of the member-only events, we will hold their welcome gifts and member-only whiskey expressions for up to 90 days until the next time they can make it to the distillery.
Due to Tennessee law, if you live within the state of Tennessee you must pick up your bottles in person. For members who live outside of the state of Tennessee and are unable to attend an event for an unforeseen circumstance, arrangement for the shipment of a bottle—for an additional fee—will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Membership changes
You can change your membership from Individual to Family, and vice versa, based upon availability. Please just email our concierge team: concierge@fiftysixsociety.vip
Membership cancellations
Membership can be canceled at any time, no questions asked. Members on the annual payment plan will receive a prorated refund for the remaining period of their subscription. For members on the quarterly payment plan, membership remains active until the end of the quarter and will not be charged for following quarters.
Membership transfers
Memberships cannot be transferred to anyone else.
Depending on availability, members’ plus ones will be able to purchase an additional bottle at each member event. These must be purchased on-site and cannot be shipped.
